Our company is seeking a skilled Network/Helpdesk/Support Engineer to join our dynamic team on an ongoing basis. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive help desk support across various IT systems, including Windows, cPanel, VoIP, LAN, wireless networks, and more. Your responsibilities will include network administration, updating and maintaining network monitoring tools, data centre activities, ticketing system updates, general server and network support, and on-call support as required.
As a Network/Helpdesk/Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with our clients to ensure their IT systems operate smoothly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a positive attitude and a commitment to going above and beyond to solve problems.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Networking
- Routing/QoS, Layer 2 & Layer 3 Switching
- Firewalls
- Voice over IP (VoIP)
- WHM/cPanel
- TCP/IP networking & OSI Model
- Windows Server
- Exchange Server
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in a ticket-driven service desk environment
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows)
- Server and printer management, deployment, and support
- Proficiency with Linux systems
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, with a solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure. You should be capable of designing, deploying, and supporting LAN/WAN/wireless technologies, and configuring and installing network devices such as Mikrotik, Arista, and Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. You will also manage data centre responsibilities, including fault-finding and performing hardware and software updates.

Additional Information:
- Available to work Monday to Friday, starting anytime from 9 am, for at least 8 hours each day
- Able to commit to a long-term position

- Open to relocating closer to our office in East Tamaki, Auckland if needed
- Clear communication skills are vital for conversing with the employer regarding job requirements
- Willingness to follow or adhere to our ticketing system for task management and tracking
